This course meets the 80 hour AFA + BLS requirement for Edmonton Fire and Calgary Fire.
Past students have been hired with Edmonton/Calgary Fire departments.
As a Red Cross Training Partner, our certifications are issued from the Canadian Red Cross.
Calgary Fire and Edmonton Fire state an Advanced First Aid certificate + BLS CPR (or equivalent) from a Canadian Red Cross provider (that’s us!) is required to be hired. You receive both certificates in 1 course with us.

Advanced First Aid with BLS CPR + AED
Building on the knowledge and skills within the Emergency Care for Professional Responders text, learners will gain the knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate patient assessments, interventions, and ongoing care in the workplace. The various options for transportation of an injured worker from the workplace to a healthcare facility are also covered. This course meets CSA Standard Z1210-17 First Aid Training for the Workplace.
